Receipe of the Week: Tangy Charapita BBQ Ribs


What You Need for 10 Servings:

1 bottle (18 oz.) KRAFT Original Barbecue Sauce

1 tsp. Charapita pepper sauce, or Charapita paste

1/2 tsp. garlic powder

5 lb. pork spareribs or baby back ribs


Lets do it:

  1. Preheat greased grill to low heat.

  2. Mix barbecue sauce, Charapita Paste (or Charapita Pepper sauce)and Gralic powder.


  1. Reserve 1/2 cup of the barbecue sauce mixture for serving with cooked ribs.

  2. Place ribs, bone sides down, on grate of grill.

  3. Cook, uncovered, 1 hour, turning over after 30 minutes.

  4. Brush with the some of the remaining barbecue sauce mixture;

  5. continue grilling 30 minutes or until ribs are cooked through, turning and brushing with the remaining barbecue sauce mixture every 10 minutes.

  6. Serve with the reserved 1/2 cup barbecue sauce mixture.
